Exploring the Philippines and Asia - Food Trip at SM Food Court

The Philippines is an exciting country to indulge in gustatory pleasures.  We have all kinds of restaurants - Chinese are everywhere so as Japanese.  Korean has gained popularity in the recent years.  We have French, Spanish, Italian, we have TGIF from the USA not to mention, McDonalds is everywhere so as Kentucky Fried Chicken and Burger King.  We also have Kenny Rogers, Sbarro, California Pizza Kitchen and Pizza Hut to name a few.  We also love caffeine so much so that we have a lot of Starbucks and Seattle's Best around Metro Manila.

Filipino restaurants which are popular as far as I'm concerned are Max's Fried Chicken, Cabalen (buffet) and
Dad's/Kamayan/Saisaki (triple buffet).

In SM (Shoe Mart Malls) and in every mall, they have this food court where food stalls offer their food specialties.  We are now seated in SM Southmall's food court enjoying free wifi.

It was written somewhere by a caucasian who visited the Philippines that Filipinos loooove to eat.  He said we eat about 7 times a day.  He observed we eat as follows:
1.  breakfast
2.  snack
3.  lunch
4.  snack in the office
5.  snack somewhere before going home
6.  dinner
7.  snack before bed

I would agree to what that person has written but it only applies to those Filipinos who can afford it.  Some
Filipinos can't due to poverty.  I hope to write about poverty in the Philippines later.

Later, we will have a hard time deciding where to eat.  I think I would go for Kenny Rogers today.

Pictures here are some of the food stalls in SM's food court.
