Perpignan is a commune 160 kms from Montpellier and 190 kms to Barcelona, Spain.
We stopped here to inquire about train fare to Paris, France. We were thinking of taking the train instead of going to Paris by RV.
We proceeded to Barcelona, arrived in Barcelona early evening and with the help of Georgia, we found Camping Masnou. Available RV space was on top of the hill which has spectacular view of the mediterranean sea.
The next day, we took a train to go to Plaza Catalunya in Barcelona. We were there early, we had to wait for the mall to open. We checked out the mall, the supermarket, the restaurant on the top floor and took pictures from there.
We did a lot of walking, ate breakfast, met former Secretary and Mrs. Concepcion by chance on the street, found Barcelona Cathedral, walked some more to find the buffet lunch I have found googling where we ate lunch, enjoyed the interesting displays of fruits and gigantic ham on the market, walked the whole length of Las Ramblas enjoying the different performances and mime until we reached the Statue of Christopher Columbus.
On June 12, we basically shopped - food and grocery shopping for our long trip to Paris, France and clothing, shoes and bag for Cha. We also went to see Sagrada Familia. We visited a Filipino store owner whose sister I met in a clinic in surrey, BC. They also own a restaurant. We were fed pansit and halu-halo on the house.
We also chatted with three Filipinos whom we met on the street.
2 days in the RV park was Euros 70.00
