Nilagang Beef Shank (Beef Shank Soup with Vegies)



It is raining today since yesterday and in our family we have food that we crave when it is gloomy and raining.

Yesterday, we all wanted to eat champorado so I cooked and we enjoyed champorado topped with Carnation evaporated milk.  Sorry forgot to take pics.

Today, what I want to eat is nilagang baka (Beef Shank Soup with Vegies).  After simmering the beef shank for 2 hours, I added potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots and cabbage.
